Short Sight
The film is about Creo, an openly gay man in his early 20s with a strange ability. Ever since losing the sight in his left eye due to a homophobic attack in his teens, Creo has discovered he is able to see manifestations of a person's true, repressed self through his blinded eye. Following a day in his life, "Short Sight" delves into the secrets people hold and they ways they lie to themselves.

We are proud to announce the first two winners in the Hot Pink Shorts: The Making Of Contest. The pitches, Short Sight, and ‘Til Death Do Us Toby, represent the creative and original talent that is so characteristic of the LGBT community.
We received a number of amazing pitches and through your votes and feedback a roster of finalists was chosen. These finalists represented the pitches that you, the community, thought were the most creative, interesting, and just plain awesome! They also illustrate just how easy it is to create your own pitch and submit it. All you need is a video recording device, an idea, and a passion for short film.
If you didn’t submit your pitch in time, don’t worry! You still have four chances to win in the next phase of our contest to see your film idea put into action. Get those cameras rolling and submit for the next round of competition. You might be the next winner of Hot Pink Shorts: The Making Of.
If you’ve already submitted a pitch, or were even a finalist in the first phase of the contest, you’re still eligible to win in future rounds. Heck, you can even submit more pitches if you have another great idea that needs some exposure. Just make sure to keep building support for your pitches and gathering as many votes as you can because only four spots are left and the community will decide who makes the next group of finalists.
